Tuition and Fees
Total cost for the Personal Fitness Training Program:
- $9,890 Tuition
- $325.00 Approximate textbook costs
- $25.00 Approximate cost for calculator, stopwatch, and clipboard
- $75.00 Application fee
SAVE $595.00 if you enroll and pay in full, in advance prior to any class start date.
If you chose to take the Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) examination following graduation, your cost is approximately $260.00 (after NPTI reimbursement and if you pass the CPT exam). NPTI Colorado reimburses you $175.00 after successfully passing the exam.
National Personal Training Institute of Colorado School Loan Program
You may pay NPTI Colorado through an interest free seven - ten month loan program that includes a $1,000 down payment (due by class start date) plus your $75 application fee plus 7 -10 monthly payments for the weekday, evening (7-month), or extended (10-month) program.
Payment may be made by cash, check, or credit card. All major credit cards are accepted. Payments are due by the 15th or the 30th of each month.

For financing options, please contact us at (877) 215-2643. We have student loans with interest rates from 0% - 20% (depending on your credit score, ability to repay the loan, co-signers, etc.) and repayment plans from six - 36 months.

Federal Student Financial Aid
NPTI Colorado qualifies for Title IV Federal Student Financial Aid.
The Department of Defense (DoD) has been given authority to assist Military Spouses of Active Duty, activated National Guard, and activated Reserve through Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts—MyCAA. The MyCAA program was revised / reactivated (effective October 25, 2010). For more information, Click Here >>
*Eligible Military spouses worldwide may now receive up to **$4,000 of financial assistance to help pay for expenses such as education and training programs, tuition, licensing and credentialing fees.
VA Education Benefits
We are approved in both our Lakewood and Colorado Springs locations for VA Education Benefits to include
- Montgomery GI Bill ®
- Post 9/11 GI Bill ®
- 1606 / 1607 GI Bill ® benefits for National Guard and Reserves
- Chapter 35 military dependents education benefits

If you qualify for VA Education Benefits, and you use your Montgomery GI Bill ® education benefits, then you must pay $500 in advance to cover your textbooks and fitness center fees. No deposit is required if you use your Post 9/11 VA education benefits.
Proof of VA Education benefits eligibility must be provided prior to class start date. For more information on VA Education Benefits, visit the Department of Veterans Affairs website.
ACE, ACSM, NASM, NSCA, Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) examination fees or the ACE "Health / Wellness Coach, NASM “Corrective Exercise Specialist” (CES), or any other certification examination fees are separate, subject to change, and not included in NPTI Colorado tuition & fees.
Successfully passing these certification examinations is not required to complete the NPTI Colorado Personal Trainer course. Graduates are highly encouraged to take these nationally recognized examinations to enhance employment opportunities.
NPTI Colorado will pay $175.00 towards a graduate’s CPT examination (no other certification unless prior approved in writing by the Director of Education) given that the graduate meets all of the following conditions:
- Must pass the CPT examination
- Must register early and pay the early registration rate (if applicable)
- Must pay the NPTI discounted exam rate (through NPTI) if available
- As defined in the then-current NPTI CO Student Catalog.
